Sign Production Designer

As a Senior Designer at VersionAbsolute, you will be responsible for delivering and leading multiple design projects, managing teams, project budgets, and resources. Your key responsibilities will include: - Delivering and leading multiple design projects from concept to site, while adhering to design briefs, timelines, and budgets. - Working with internal and external teams to develop design briefs and strategies. - Project managing multiple projects, including budgets, programming, risks, and resources. - Producing, supervising, and delivering designs, drawings, schedules, guidelines, and specifications across various stages. - Preparing and delivering design presentations, pitches, and company profiles. - Developing vendors and product/process samples for current and future projects. - Keeping up to date with applicable laws influencing the work. - Regularly reporting to senior management and directors on project status. Skills required for this role include AutoCAD, REVIT, ACC, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. Additionally, experience with Rhino/Grasshopper and Project Management Software like Primavera P6 is considered a plus. Qualifications required for this position are: - Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil). - Minimum 6 years of professional experience in sign design, wayfinding design, print/digital design, or similar studio experience. - Experience in large-scale projects such as townships, airports, healthcare, mixed-use, and commercial developments. - Knowledge of machinery used in sign production. - Excellent production design portfolio. - Site and material knowledge. - Good communication and presentation skills. - Willingness to travel to sites and clients. - Ability to collaborate and manage a team effectively. Fluency in spoken and written English, working on international projects/teams, and with design & build companies are considered advantageous.
