Sign Production Designer

As a Senior Designer specializing in Wayfinding & Signage Production at VersionAbsolute, you will be joining a dedicated team with over 22 years of experience in the field. Our design philosophy revolves around optimizing space efficiency and creating memorable experiences through strategic design. With studios in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Hong Kong, our core team operates from our New Delhi office. In this full-time role based in New Delhi, you will be part of VersionAbsolute Design Studio, a collaborative environment comprising architects, designers, strategists, and design engineers. We work on a diverse range of projects, from large townships to campus signage systems, always aiming to make environments more user-friendly. Our approach combines design expertise with a deep understanding of the context in which our solutions exist, fostering trust and lasting relationships with our clients. As a leader in this role, your responsibilities will include: - Managing multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to briefs, timelines, and budgets. - Collaborating with internal and external teams to develop design briefs and strategies. - Project management encompassing budgeting, programming, risk assessment, and resource allocation. - Overseeing the production of designs, drawings, schedules, guidelines, and specifications across various project stages. - Delivering design presentations, pitches, and company profiles. - Developing vendor relationships and product/process samples for current and future projects. - Staying updated on relevant laws influencing our work. - Ensuring the successful realization of design projects while meeting budget, program, and compliance requirements. Key Skills Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT & ACC, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. - Desired skills in Rhino/Grasshopper, Primavera P6, and project management software. - A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil) and at least 6 years of professional experience in sign design, wayfinding design, or related fields. - Experience in large-scale projects such as townships, airports, healthcare, mixed-use, and commercial developments. - Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills. - Willingness to travel to sites and engage with clients. - Ability to manage teams effectively for efficient project delivery.
