The Junior Architect role is a full-time on-site position based in Hyderabad, ideal for individuals with 1-3 years of experience in architecture or interior design. As a Junior Architect, you will be involved in various aspects of architectural and interior design, project execution, and project management under the guidance of senior architects. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in design development by collaborating with senior architects to create design concepts through sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D models. You will also be responsible for drafting architectural drawings and documents using software such as AutoCAD, Rhino3D, or similar tools. Ensuring compliance with local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements, as well as assisting in material and product research for projects based on budget, aesthetics, and performance requirements, will be essential aspects of your role. Collaboration with team members, including engineers and contractors, to coordinate all project aspects into the design, conducting site visits to assess progress and quality, and communicating with clients to understand their needs and preferences will be integral to your responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide support in project management tasks like tracking timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring quality control, and incorporating sustainable design principles into projects in alignment with the firm's or project's goals. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other architectural design software, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, are essential. Experience with LEED certification, Rhino+Grasshopper, VRay/Corona, and BIM would be advantageous. In this full-time role based in New Delhi, you will be part of VersionAbsolute Design Studio, a collaborative environment comprising architects, designers, strategists, and design engineers. We work on a diverse range of projects, from large townships to campus signage systems, always aiming to make environments more user-friendly. Our approach combines design expertise with a deep understanding of the context in which our solutions exist, fostering trust and lasting relationships with our clients.
