What's the role The Process Control Engineer is a key contributor to site operations, deeply embedded in work processes and collaborating across disciplines. Most engineers are assigned to specific plant areas, while some support site-wide initiatives. This role ensures optimal performance, safety, and reliability of control systems through proactive engineering and strategic project development. What you'll be doing Execute engineering activities for assigned production assets, including base layer control strategies, HMI design, compressor control, and alarm management. Conduct Proactive Technical Monitoring to identify performance improvements and reliability risks; implement cost-effective solutions with area teams. Collaborate with SIS specialists to design or modify Safety Instrumented Functions in alignment with process safety requirements. Author and assure Management of Change (MOC) documentation within the Process Control discipline. Lead or support failure analysis and causal investigations related to control system incidents; resolve MTO threats with root cause solutions. Engage with global TAS networks to share best practices and explore new technologies (e.g., wireless systems, procedural automation). Partner with Instrumentation and Maintenance teams to develop and execute turnaround worklists and process control scope What you bring Preferably a bachelors degree holder in Chemical Engineering or Instrumentation. Ideally with 4 years of experience in base layer control, preferably in refining, petrochemicals, or large-scale industrial operations. Proficiency in Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is essential. Hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion or Foxboro I/A Series systems is highly desirable. Strong understanding of IPF/SIF, SIS, and alarm management principles. Good knowledge of field instrumentation, including selection, calibration, installation, and troubleshooting of various field devices Experience with MOC processes, turnaround planning, and project development. Knowledgeable in basic Oil Refining processes such as Distillation, Hydro processing, Cracking, Sulphur Recovery, Raw and Wastewater processing. Must have good knowledge of the informatica MDM and the various procedures and terminologies involved in the MDM process. Must be fluent in Informatica MDM Hub Configuration Development of a. Informatica MDM User Exits b. Match and Merge Rules c. Development using SIF d. Hierarchy configuration Must possess basic SQL, JAVA coding capabilities and database knowledge. Must understand the basic client requirements and provide solutions that meet the expectations. Supplier Master, Item Master and Facility Master implementation experience is plus Must understand Data Profiling and Data quality rules Involved in coding, testing, implementing, debugging and documenting the complex programs. You will be acting as the internal safety and risk subject matter expert within the CoE, supporting strategic initiatives and solution development. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Engineering team to guide feature design, ensuring alignment with safety/risk standards, and validating product performance from a practitioners" perspective. Additionally, you will provide feedback and validation on user workflows, risk modeling logic, and analytics tied to SIF prevention and SMS best practices. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in safety, EHS, loss control, enterprise risk management, or industrial hygiene. A deep understanding and familiarity with EHS/safety software platforms or direct experience supporting such system implementations are essential. You should possess a strong working knowledge of SIF prevention strategies, risk modeling, and root cause analysis. Experience working across departments in a matrixed or consulting environment is highly desirable. In terms of skills and tools, proficiency with data tools such as Power BI, Excel, and Tableau is required. You should be comfortable working with structured safety and risk data. Strong communication skills are necessary to engage both technical and non-technical audiences effectively. Your ability to translate regulatory and operational requirements into software and service solutions will be crucial. Exposure to Agile product development, SaaS environments, or cross-functional collaboration with engineering/development teams is considered a bonus. We are looking for a skilled Informatica MDM Developer with 6 to 12 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing MDM solutions and strong functional knowledge. Roles and Responsibility Design, develop, and implement MDM solutions using Informatica. Create mappings, mapplets, sessions, workflows, and worklets in Informatica Data Quality IDQ. Develop and maintain E360 provisioning, landing tables, base objects, staging tables, lookup tables, relationships, and mappings. Implement controls to improve data quality and governance. Provide support for production issues and troubleshoot problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MDM solutions. Job At least 5 years of experience in implementing MDM solutions in medium-high complexity projects. Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM standard REST APIs, SIF, Message Queue based integration for Search before create bidirectional sync. Strong functional knowledge and experience in mastering multiple domains. Experience with relational databases and SQL, especially Microsoft SQL server. Ability to identify and implement controls to improve data quality and governance. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide support for production issues.
