You will be joining a dynamic team at Stellantis, a global automotive company known for its iconic brands such as Chrysler, Citron, Fiat, and Jeep. In this full-time on-site role based in Chennai, you will be taking on the position of Controls & Automation Specialist. Your primary responsibilities will include programming and validating Siemens Sinumerik, Fanuc CNC machines, and Mitsubishi PLC systems to support our Manufacturing Engineering team. To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in programming Siemens Sinumerik, Fanuc CNC machines, and Mitsubishi PLC systems. Additionally, a background in the automotive industry, specifically in Tire 1 or Tier 2, will be advantageous. You should possess the ability to troubleshoot and maintain CNC and PLC systems effectively. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience with automation and robotics will be highly valued. Ideally, you should hold a technical degree or certification in CNC machining or PLC programming. Alternatively, a Diploma or Engineering qualification coupled with at least 5 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
