Role & responsibilities Responsible for delivering on new business sales target by regional territory, by industry & customer base Plan new market penetration with a structured distribution grid with the objective of achieving incremental sales. Ensure that the companys strategy for brand presence & penetration through these channels are rolled out & implemented into the markets as per defined schedule. In coordination with Head Sales, prepare strategies to enhance customers pool for increased business revenues/ introduction of new product lines / new technologies as per latest market trend Monitor sales volume for new business on a periodic basis to ensure continued flow of orders over the budget period & avoid skew in demand supply Search out the new business under the assigned territory as per laid down guidelines from the Company Ensure that the defined terms & conditions of the trade terms are implemented & all transactions by the business channels are as per commercial laws applicable Rollout, manage & monitor all trade promotions like special schemes & product promotions & activities to grow the business Responsible for managing the regional business development team and working across all business stakeholders/ associates within the sales territories Ensure that the Business development team prepares their market coverage Journey Cycle Planners (JCP) for structured visit to clients / cities within their respective territories. Responsible for developing & mentoring the new business development team members to ensure high team spirit and a proactive approach to business delivery Preferred candidate profile
