Sales & Target Achievement: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Commercial & heavy motor vehicles. Monitor dealer performance and take proactive measures to improve retail sales. Drive retail finance tie-ups and conversions to support sales. Dealer Management: Handle end-to-end dealer engagement including appointment, onboarding, performance review, and support. Ensure implementation of Ashok Leyland’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) at dealership outlets. Review dealer stock, pipeline, and secondary sales regularly. Market Development & Customer Engagement: Identify and develop new markets, fleet customers, institutional buyers, and government tenders. Build strong relationships with transporters, fleet owners, contractors, and logistics operators. Organize local-level promotional campaigns, roadshows, and customer meets. Product Knowledge & Training: Ensure dealership sales team is well-trained on product features, specifications, and competitive advantages. Regularly update dealers on new product launches, schemes, and technical developments. Reporting & MIS: Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to senior management. Maintain proper documentation of sales activities, retail conversions, and CRM data.
