Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Merchandise Manager, located in Godhra, Gujarat. The Senior Merchandise Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire merchandising process, managing inventory, and developing strategies to optimize assortments. The role includes coordinating with the sales and production teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. Role Overview: You are being sought after to take on the role of a Senior Merchandiser at Shree Raj Apparels" Shirts Manufacturing Export Division. As a seasoned professional, you will be tasked with overseeing the merchandising operations for global brands, ensuring the entire order life cycle is managed efficiently from product development to shipment, focusing on quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Manage international shirting brands, including handling buyer communication and requirements effectively. - Oversee the complete merchandising cycle, covering sampling, approvals, costing, TNA (Time & Action), and follow-up on bulk production. - Maintain a strong buyer interface by fostering clear, professional, and proactive communication with overseas clients. - Utilize sourcing expertise to develop, source, and negotiate fabrics, trims, and accessories from reputable suppliers. - Collaborate with design, production, QA, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order execution. - Monitor order status, conduct quality checks, and adhere to shipment deadlines, proactively addressing any arising issues. - Negotiate costs and margins to ensure business profitability while upholding buyer satisfaction. - Provide guidance and support to junior merchandisers and team members as needed. Qualifications & Requirements: - Experience: You should possess a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in merchandising, specifically within shirts manufacturing/export for global brands. - Education: A graduate degree in Textiles/Fashion Technology/Business Administration or equivalent (preference given to NIFT, ATDC, etc. graduates). - Skills: - Strong communication & presentation skills for effective buyer handling. - Solid knowledge of fabrics (cotton, blends, yarn-dyed, piece-dyed) and trims (buttons, labels, tags, packaging). - Expertise in costing, consumption calculation, and vendor negotiation. - Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple orders. - Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/MIS systems. - Attributes: - Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven. - Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. - A team player with leadership qualities.,
