Position Title: Scrap Yard Head - Operation (Stainless SMS) Location: Boisar Qualifications Education: Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical /Production/Metallurgy Experience: 15-20 years Key Responsibilities: Manage & control over all functioning of scrap division. Ensure smooth functioning of Scrap receipt, Scrap transfer, shredder/Sheering m/c, Plasma cutting, Gas Cutting, Chip Crushing, Briquetting M/c Ensure Optimum output from Shredder /Shearing m/c ,Gas Cutting, m/c, Plasma cutting, Gas Cutting, Chip Crushing, Briqetting M/c Ensure proper Scrap Sorting ( Zurich ,316,High Density and Closed Scrap) Ensure Proper Scrap blend as per Heat Mix requirement of Furnace Ensure to Transfer Proper Scrap to meet the Central Planning Requirement Lead continuous scrap metal facility improvements Analyze operational data on daily basis and take necessary action Monitor equipments needs for facility and making sure it is available Maintain inventory level and monitor at the scrap metal recycling yard inventories Ensure that process Scrap Blend within the scope of the set standard operating procedures. Ensure a safe and productive work environment. Monitor floor operations and develop best, effective work process, identify opportunities for continuous improvement Oversee yard layout and equipments line up. Coordinate with Maintenance Department to ensure all equipment remains in working order and in compliance with the Standards and safety standards. TPM/5S implementation at the scrap yard Supervisor training & development Ensure Proper Man management Preparing and Monitoring yearly budget Reviewing , & modifying yearly targets as per the directives of management Maintain Proper documentation to support reporting and submit documents to Management in a timely fashion. Build the desired organization with best-in-class processes and capabilities Ensure that the required organization is established as planned Foster the professional growth of team members through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
