As an L1 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for handling initial client inquiries and troubleshooting common technical problems. You'll work closely with higher-level engineers to escalate more complex issues and ensure prompt and efficient resolution, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Position will have a responsibility for end-to-end recruitment for It and Non IT hiring. The role involves independently managing multiple positions, coordinating with hiring managers, and ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience while meeting defined hiring timelines and quality standards. Role & responsibilities 1. Requirement Gathering & Planning Work with Hiring Managers to understand role requirements, tech stacks, budget, and timelines. Prepare/validate Job Descriptions for IT or Non-IT roles (e.g., Developers, QA, DevOps, Cloud, Data, AI/ML, Support). Plan sourcing strategy for each position (portals, LinkedIn, referrals, vendors, etc.). 2. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and internal databases. Build and maintain a talent pipeline for recurring / critical roles. Use Boolean search, advanced filters, and networking to attract passive candidates. 3. Screening & Evaluation Conduct initial telephonic/video screening to assess job fit (basic tech or profile understanding), experience, stability, and cultural fit. Validate notice period, CTC/ECTC, location preference, and work mode flexibility. Share shortlisted profiles with Hiring Managers with a brief summary and key highlights. 4. Interview Coordination & Stakeholder Management Schedule interviews with technical panels, track feedback, and follow up for closures. Ensure interviewers update feedback in a timely and structured manner. Keep Hiring Managers informed about progress, challenges, and market feedback. 5. Offer Management & Closure Coordinate salary discussions as per internal guidelines and budget. Prepare offer proposals for approval from HR Manager / Management. Manage negotiations where applicable, and ensure high offer-to-join ratio. 6. Candidate Experience & Employer Branding Maintain professional, timely communication with all candidates throughout the process. Ensure a positive candidate experience, even for rejected profiles. Support HR team in employer branding activities (hiring posts, events, campus drives, etc.). 7. Process, Compliance & Data Management Update recruitment trackers, HRIS/ATS, and dashboards regularly with accurate data. Ensure all recruitment documents (JD, interview feedback, approval mails, offer letters) are properly recorded. Adhere to internal recruitment policies, data protection, and confidentiality norms. Required Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of Non IT and IT roles and technologies (e.g., Java/.NET, JS frameworks, Cloud, DevOps, Data, QA, Support, Accounting, Research). Hands-on experience with job portals (Naukri/Indeed/etc.), LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools . Good at screening resumes , asking the right questions, and identifying red flags. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Strong coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management . Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment. Proficient in MS Excel/Sheets and basic HR systems/ATS.
