As a highly skilled Shopify + PHP Developer with 4+ years of experience, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores to ensure seamless performance and scalability. Your expertise in Shopify theme and app development, PHP programming, and API integrations will play a crucial role in creating engaging eCommerce experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and customize Shopify themes, templates, and layouts to enhance eCommerce experiences. - Build and integrate Shopify apps, plugins, and APIs to improve store functionality. - Write clean and scalable PHP code for Shopify customizations and back-end integrations. - Optimize Shopify stores for performance, security, and scalability, prioritizing a smooth user experience. - Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to meet business requirements effectively. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify, including complex API integrations. - Maintain and enhance existing PHP-based applications used for Shopify integrations. - Implement eCommerce best practices for SEO, page speed optimization, and user experience enhancement. - Stay updated with the latest features of Shopify, industry trends, and development best practices. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in Shopify development with proficiency in PHP, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, webhooks, and custom app development. - Familiarity with PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony) for custom Shopify integrations. - Proficiency in MySQL, database optimization, and query performance tuning. - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations. - Excellent problem-solving skills to debug and resolve Shopify and PHP-related issues. - Experience with Git version control, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of eCommerce best practices, conversion optimization, and UI/UX principles.
