Shopify Developer - IT

As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing and customizing Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs. Your role will involve building visually appealing websites that are responsive and cross-browser compatible. You will work on customizing and optimizing Shopify stores to align with brand guidelines and integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance store functionality. Troubleshooting and debugging issues with existing stores and apps will also be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring website performance, speed, and scalability are crucial aspects of this role. Collaboration with designers, marketers, and other developers is essential to deliver high-quality digital solutions. You will need to implement SEO best practices within the Shopify environment and maintain documentation of features, updates, and fixes. The requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory) and a minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development. Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery is necessary, along with a strong knowledge of Shopify APIs and integration with third-party services. Familiarity with version control tools like Git, experience with cross-browser compatibility and responsive design, and basic knowledge of SEO, performance optimization, and analytics tools are desired.
