Required Skills: Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in web development, with at least 3-4 years specifically focused on Shopify development and a minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership or architect role within an e-commerce context. Expert-level proficiency in Shopify theme development (Dawn theme, OS 2.0 capabilities), customization, and best practices using Liquid, HTML, CSS (Sass/SCSS), and JavaScript. Extensive experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API, Customer Account API) and building custom integrations. Proven experience with Shopify Plus features like Shopify Flow, Launchpad, Script Editor/Functions, and Checkout UI Extensions. Strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, app development, and third-party integrations. Advanced JavaScript skills, including experience with modern frameworks (e.g., React.js, Vue.js, Next.js for headless commerce solutions like Hydrogen). Solid understanding of responsive design, web performance optimization, and accessibility standards. Proven ability to design and architect complex e-commerce solutions. Experience integrating Shopify with external systems such as ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM, and marketing automation platforms. Knowledge of headless commerce architectures and relevant technologies.
