The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have 4 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in B2B sales of Industrial Automation, IIoT, MES, SCADA, or Digital Transformation Solutions. It is preferred that the candidate has experience with End User clients. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop-floor operations, and current Digital Transformation trends is necessary. Additionally, excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills are required, along with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting is also a plus. The candidate should be willing to travel for client meetings and industry events across PAN India. Being self-driven, resilient, and comfortable in a performance-focused start-up environment is key to success in this role. Key responsibilities for this position include identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities for IIoT software solutions in the manufacturing and industrial sectors. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve company revenue goals. Understanding customer needs, pain points, and operational challenges to recommend relevant IIoT solutions is essential. The candidate will also participate in trade shows, webinars, and industry events to generate leads and promote company offerings. Preparing proposals, conducting product demos, and negotiating commercial terms with clients are part of the responsibilities. Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies is also a crucial aspect of the role. Preferred attributes for this position include having an existing network of industry contacts in End Users, OEMs, and System Integrators. A technical understanding of IIoT platforms, cloud-based solutions, and Industrial protocols is preferred. A consultative selling approach with the ability to translate technical features into business benefits is also valued.
