Non-Paid Internship for UX/UI Designer Company: Shop ONline New York Location: Fully Remote Duration: 3 months Number of Hours Per Week: 20 About Shop ONline New York: Shop ONline New York is a purpose-driven e-commerce company designing innovative, space-saving, and smart home solutions. As we enter the final phase before our initial product launch, we are seeking a committed UX/UI Designer who can bring clarity, structure, and modern aesthetics to our mobile and web interfaces. This is a high-impact opportunity for a designer who is ready to shape user experiences with precision and intention. Role Overview: As a UX/UI Designer Intern, you’ll work directly with the CTO, product owner, and front-end teams to finalize design flows for critical features such as checkout, wishlist, rewards systems, and product reviews. Your input will directly affect the look, feel, and usability of our product as we prepare for public launch. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design of user flows across mobile and web platforms, focusing on clarity and usability. Collaborate with the product owner and dev teams to ensure feasibility and functionality of designs. Finalize existing Figma files and deliver mobile and desktop responsive versions. Help define visual hierarchy, iconography, spacing, and system feedback for e-commerce components. Deliver pixel-perfect mockups that follow a modern, minimalist, and New York-style brand language. Participate in user testing preparation and interface refinement based on feedback. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in UX/UI design with a solid portfolio. Strong command of Figma and interface design tools. Understanding of responsive design principles and e-commerce interface patterns. Ability to design within constraints, focusing on both aesthetics and usability. Strong communication and collaboration skills within remote team environments.
