Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant to join our team at a busy distribution center. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. Prepare export documentation for shipments. Communicate with appropriate departments including Transport providers, Freight Forwarders, Brokers, Vendors etc. Co-ordinate with factory and stores for dispatch of material. Ensure timely processing of export shipments documents with the logistics providers and banks. Submit timely document instructions to freight forwarders etc. for smooth transition of shipment. Maintain export files in an organized and catalogued system. Prepare bank reconciliation and co-ordinate with the bank for the same. Ensure compliance with export laws and regulations. Should handle Import & Export documentation (BL / Packing List / Invoices / COO Etc.) Process and submit import L/C applications to the bank, review export L/C. Maintain all the export-related documents, including clients’ files. Should follow-up with custom house agent for custom clearance of the shipment. Maintain records and get the renewals of all export-related licenses and documents.
