Role Purpose: Responsible for leading, directing and controlling team of designers for preparing detailed engineering and construction drawings based on specifications, client drawings, calculations, standards and written or verbal instructions provided by engineers and/or naval architects. Ensure detailed production design for cable tray supports and instrument supports including 3D models as per requirement. Ensure production fabrication and installation drawings for cable trays and instrumentation meet the requirement. Make simple professional computation by using tables, charts, etc. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements. Ensure cable block diagrams and termination drawings meet the requirement. Ensure instrument hook-up drawings meet the requirement. Inspect on-board vessel or assemblies for preparation, verification, or improvement. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work. Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Lead Engineer-Instrumentation Skills & Competencies: Minimum 5 years relevant experience in shipyard, offshore / Oil & Gas industry in design office.
