As a Shipbuilding Draftsman at Fusie Engineers, you will be a key player in the transformation of engineering designs into precise technical drawings for marine and offshore projects. Your role will involve collaborating closely with engineers and designers to create detailed 2D technical drawings, preparing comprehensive drawings for ships, offshore platforms, structural layouts, systems arrangements, and fabrication details, as well as engaging directly with clients to ensure drawing requirements are met. Your meticulous attention to detail and accuracy will be essential in revising and updating existing drawings based on design changes and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project-specific details. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to create detailed 2D technical drawings. - Prepare comprehensive drawings for ships, offshore platforms, structural layouts, systems arrangements, and fabrication details. - Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes. - Engage directly with clients to clarify drawing requirements and specifications. - Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific details. **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma or relevant certificate in Marine Drafting, Technical Drawing, or related fields. - 5+ years of experience in marine/offshore drafting. - Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software, with strong skills in 2D DWG creation. - Comprehensive knowledge of ship structures, offshore platforms, floating assets, and related terminology. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications accurately. - Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. - Independent, responsible for project outcomes, and strongly client-focused. - Enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic startup environment.
