Hiring Execution Engineer for marine client Ship Repair & AMC (LSA & FFA) Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Execution Engineer to oversee and manage ship repair projects and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), with a special focus on Life Saving Appliances (LSA) and Fire Fighting Appliances (FFA) . The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, proven project execution skills, and good commercial acumen related to ship repair and maintenance. This is a long-term employment opportunity for a motivated professional who can ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute ship repair and AMC projects, with a primary focus on LSA and FFA equipment. Supervise installation,inspection, testing, repair, and commissioning activities onboard vessels. Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, Class, and Flag State requirements during project execution. Prepare and review project schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation. Coordinate with shipyards, OEMs, surveyors, and clients for smooth project execution. Monitor progress, control costs, and ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets. Conduct technical evaluation,troubleshooting, and provide solutions for repair/maintenance activities. Prepare technical reports, job completion documents, and certification records. Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. Support commercial team by preparing cost estimates, work scopes, and assisting in tender/bid documentation. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost optimization in repair/maintenance activities. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business under AMC contracts. Qualifications & Experience Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or equivalent. 810 years of experience in ship repair, refit, and maintenance execution, with hands-on exposure to LSA and FFA systems. Strong understanding of classification society rules, statutory requirements, and OEM standards. Proven track record in handling multiple ship repair/AMC projects independently. Good knowledge of commercial practices related to ship repair contracts, costing, and negotiations. Proficient in MS Office and project planning tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team coordination. Preferred Attributes Leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
