Role: Site Reliability Engineer Industry: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Role Category: DevOps Responsibilities Collaborate with customer application and infrastructure teams to review existing runbooks and migration procedures. Design, develop, test, and deploy automation workflows for migration using Python and Terraform. Implement orchestration solutions leveraging AWS Lambda, integrating with AWS Step Functions, Event Bridge, and other native AWS services. Convert manual migration tasks into reusable automation components, gradually replacing manual steps with Lambda-based automation. Participate in cutover planning to identify automation opportunities and develop secure, scalable workflows. Manage a variety of workloads across multiple geographies, ensuring high reliability and compliance standards. Skills & Expertise Expert-level proficiency in Python scripting and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code). Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda. Solid working knowledge of AWS Step Functions and AWS EventBridge. Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation (as required). Experience with API integrations. Deep understanding of automation principles and cloud-native tools. Education Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
