Job Responsibilities Evaluate loan applications and perform credit underwriting in line with company policies. Analyze customer income (formal and informal sources) to determine repayment capacity. Review and validate property-related documents, including legal and technical checks. Ensure compliance with RBI/NHB guidelines, internal credit policies, and KYC/AML requirements. Conduct field visits and personal discussions (PDs) to verify applicant details. Work collaboratively with sales, legal, and technical teams for end-to-end loan processing. Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to defined turnaround times. Utilize MS Office tools and loan origination systems for assessment and reporting. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, risk assessment, and loan processing. Ability to objectively evaluate customer profiles and make data-driven credit decisions. Familiarity with housing finance, NBFC operations, or affordable housing segment. Understanding of regional property markets, customer segments, and associated risks. Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and customers. High level of integrity, compliance orientation, and attention to detail.
