Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to promote academic journals online. Execute SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility, rankings, and traffic. Manage and optimize Google Scholar, indexing, and metadata for journal visibility. Run targeted campaigns across social media, Google Ads, and academic platforms. Monitor and analyze web traffic, conversions, and engagement metrics. Collaborate with editorial teams to plan content promotion (articles, issues, special editions). Create and distribute email marketing campaigns to reach researchers and subscribers. Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, SEO updates, and academic publishing standards. Requirements:Proven experience in digital marketing and SEO (preferably in publishing, academia, or content-driven organizations). Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.). Familiarity with academic databases, indexing services, and scholarly communications is a plus. Experience with social media marketing, email campaigns, and PPC advertising. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications:Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Experience in academic publishing, research communication, or higher education marketing.
