Role & responsibilities To ensure the smooth running of the allocated warehouse shift, ensuring appropriate resources (people, equipment) are available to meet planned activity levels. Ensure compliance to all appropriate legislation related to safe conduct of warehouse operations. Maintain and enhance effective working relationships with shift supervisors and their staff. Contribute to the identification, evaluation and where appropriate implementation, of improvement initiatives within the warehouse. Ensure staff work to the processes and procedures relating to the warehouse operation. Recruitment of supervisory and operative staff as required. Setting staff performance levels, providing feedback on achievement and identifying improvement opportunities. Regular communication with shift staff on departmental and shift matters. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 2-5 years experience in a Warehouse, of which at least 2 should have been in a logistics management/supervisory position Educated to High school, Diploma or Relevant level. Logistics or supply chain qualification. Membership of a relevant Institute. Computer literate. Demonstrable experience in people management

Setup production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders. Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing. Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe condition and in its place. Repair and clean the equipment when needed. Run the machine in accordance to process parameters and check all the sensors are in working conditions. Breakdowns need to be reported to related departments (Maintenance/Tool room) with intimation slip with the help of shift supervisor. Identify and report unsafe operations to shift supervisor immediately. IPQC should be updated in time and see that the finished products are aptly matching with the quality and quantity constraints of the company. Waste details such as lumps, dust collector filter cleaning should be entered in the respective production lots. Provide production reports by the end of the shift. Should be ready to work anywhere in India. Supervise CNC programming for Turn mill & Sliding Head CNC machines.Execute production plans,Production planning,Tooling and Fixture selection.Validate manufacturing processes for new products in addition to routine shop floor activities. Required Candidate profile Exposure toTurn mill & Swiss type sliding head Machines like Tsugami/Tornos/Star/Citizen make,programming,process documentations,trouble shooting and understanding of Machine Utilization & OEE.

Production Planning Control of shifts ( 1st & 2nd shifts) Supervising production activities of CNC Oprs ( Turning & Milling) Preperation of Jobcards of each machine Manpower Planning of the shifts Meeting daily /monthly prodn targets of the company Required Candidate profile BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engg , 3-6 years experience in CNC Milling(VMC/HMC) , CNC Turning with knowledge of CNC Programming . Machine Building /Machine Shop/ Engineering Industry prefered.
