Your main responsibility as a Shift Operator will be to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner. You will be required to monitor the production process, troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, such as KGS and KOSHA (PSM/SMS) guidelines. You will also be involved in conducting audits to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. As a Shift Operator Leader, you will lead a team of operators, providing guidance and support to ensure the team meets production targets and quality standards. You will be responsible for training new team members on SOPs and best practices, as well as conducting regular performance evaluations. In addition, you will work closely with the Electrical & Instrument Engineer to coordinate maintenance activities, such as TAR (Turnaround) projects, and investigate any incidents through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence. To excel in this role, you should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is preferred, along with a solid understanding of process safety management and risk assessment protocols. A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline, is also desirable.
