As the GSOC Shift Operations Manager at Pinkerton, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of one of Pinkerton's largest global clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Representing Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. - Receiving shift pass-down information and conducting shift briefings for updates, assignments, training, and uniform compliance. - Maintaining situational awareness of potential safety and security threats globally. - Drafting and sending emergency mass notifications and crisis communications. - Ensuring timely response to emergencies such as medical issues, fires, hazardous materials incidents, natural disasters, and accidents. - Assisting in the development and revision of security operation center processes, protocols, and systems. - Identifying and addressing security concerns related to physical security alarms. - Providing backup support and on-call functions as necessary. - Overseeing quality control and oversight for production, support, and staffing functions. - Developing and enhancing the capabilities of the Business Assurance Center (BAC) in operations and intelligence/analytics areas. - Supervising the maintenance and deployment of a BAC knowledge management dashboard. - Representing the BAC in meetings with client personnel. - Managing incidents of workplace violence or other associate misconduct. - Developing and conducting training for Operators in control room functions and training exercises with the field leadership team. - Performing any other duties as assigned. Qualifications required for this role include: - A graduate degree with at least five years of experience in a high-intensity, high-volume environment, such as a Security Operations Center, Crisis Management/Response Center, or Corporate Security domain. - Effective instructional, written, and verbal communication skills. - Customer service skills. - Knowledge of security systems including access control, CCTV systems, badging systems, and alarm monitoring systems. - Familiarity with research and analysis processes. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful work environment. - Comfort with a high-tech work environment and willingness to learn new tools and innovations. - Self-motivation, curiosity, and knowledge of news and current events. - Dependable team leadership qualities with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. - Proficiency in computer skills, especially Microsoft Office. Working Conditions: - Requires physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions. - Involves regular computer usage. - Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment. - Requires frequent sitting. - Flexibility to work all shifts and willingness to assist with overtime. - Travel may be required.,
