Shift Maintenance Electrician

Job Title : Maintenance Electrician (Shift) Location : [Infopark Kakkanad,Ernakulam] Shift : Rotational (Day/Night) or as assigned Salary : [Rs 18,000- Rs 23,000 Take home] Job Summary The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks in an IT infrastructure environment. This role ensures continuous power availability and electrical safety across the facility, responding to breakdowns and performing preventive maintenance as per schedule. Key Responsibilities : Conduct regular preventive maintenance of electrical panels, DBs, UPS systems, and lighting circuits. Respond quickly to electrical faults or failures and ensure minimal downtime. Operate and maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, and DG sets (if applicable). Monitor and maintain power distribution systems and energy meters. Inspect and test electrical systems using tools like multimeters, insulation testers, etc. Maintain logbooks, maintenance records, and shift reports accurately. Coordinate with vendors or OEMs for technical issues if required. Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company standards. Support HVAC, fire alarm, and BMS systems when electrical support is required. Requirements : Qualification : ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering Experience : Minimum 2–4 years in electrical maintenance, preferably in commercial or IT buildings. Skills : Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and distribution systems Ability to read electrical drawings and panel schematics Troubleshooting skills for lighting, power, and UPS systems Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and safety protocols Shift : Must be willing to work in rotational shifts (24x7 environment) No Accommodation Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
