Job Description: The Shift Incharge is responsible for overseeing the operations during a specific shift in a manufacturing or production environment. The role involves managing staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations, coordinating production activities, and maintaining effective communication between shifts. The Shift Incharge will monitor the performance of the team, address any issues that arise, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and lead a team of employees during assigned shifts. - Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. - Monitor production output and ensure quality standards are met. - Assist with scheduling and assigning tasks to team members. - Provide training and support to new employees. - Address any operational issues and resolve conflicts amongst team members. - Communicate with management regarding production goals, performance issues, and employee concerns. - Conduct regular inspections of the work area to ensure cleanliness and safety. - Compile reports on production metrics and team performance. Tools and Technologies: - Proficient in using inventory management software and reporting tools. - Familiarity with safety standards in a manufacturing environment. - Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Experience with ERP systems is a plus. - Knowledge of Workplace Safety Standards and Procedures.
