As a software engineer on this team, you will work on hardware and software. We are a vertically integrated team spanning from firmware development right up to the application layer. In this role, you will be actively participating in research, concept development, and design ideation to create world-class software and firmware. THE PERSON: We are looking for versatile and enthusiastic engineers who are willing to take on new challenges and find innovative ways to problem-solve. You will be working with a group of engineers to design, develop, and test Windows drivers for IO peripheral devices on the newest platforms that AMD produces. We are looking for someone with strong programming skills in C and C++ with exposure to X86 as well as source control (CVS/GIT/RMS) and/or Windows architecture. An ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Windows device driver development and debugging. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate s primary responsibility is developing Windows drivers for AMD XGbE/Ethernet IP. The candidate will have backup responsibilities of developing Linux drivers and application/tool development.
