Job description As a Railway Brake Caliper Designer, you will be responsible for designing railway brake Calipers based on inputs provided by global engineers or customers. You will develop engineering drawings that fulfil technical objectives consistent with established guidelines, customer requirements, and design specifications. You will also design casting and machined parts using Creo software skills. You will coordinate with global engineers to meet or exceed the design aspects of the projects. Your product design will be based on design for manufacture/design for assembly. You will recommend alternative product and system designs as required and initiate Engineering Change Orders per procedures. You will be expected to deliver on time while doing it right the first time and every time. Good English language communication skills are a must.
