Key Responsibilities: - SHE: to comply with ENVALIOR SHE requirements and Indian legislations; show SHE leadership, responsible for SHE performance in the field; coach qualified employees for excellent SHE performance - Responsible for executing and monitoring the Production process based on approved production process work orders & plan - Accountable for the full implementation of procedures and processes, Accountable for the shop floor housekeeping as per Continuous Improvement standard - Responsible for the emergency response and immediate report - Responsible for tracking Hazardous waste in Production area - Responsible for production quality and production efficiency - Responsible for start & stop production line to meet the requirements of safety & quality - Accountable for timely communication of complete and accurate production report and daily work report in daily meeting - Responsible for management of shift operators in terms of supervision, communication, coaching, training, and development Qualifications Required: - Diploma degree or above in engineering/chemistry/machinery or CIPET in PPT - Minimum one-year Compounding & SSP dryer related operational management experience - Good leadership, communication and coaching skills Additional Details of the Company: With a combined heritage of over 100 years, Envalior brings together two established global materials players: DSM Engineering Materials and LANXESS High Performance Materials. As an Assistant Manager in the Equipment division, your main responsibility will be to provide full support to the Branches to ensure effective utilization of All Service Equipment. This includes innovating new equipment and tools to enhance technicians" work processes, maintaining records of all equipment at branches, and assisting in the removal of non-functioning equipment. Additionally, you will collaborate with other divisions such as NSD and Purchase Dept. to ensure timely equipment procurement at the best possible cost. Your duties will be categorized into the following key areas: I. Hands-on Equipment Training to Technicians: - Conduct regular hands-on training sessions for Technicians nationwide on the usage, maintenance, and repair of service equipment. - Collaborate with Division heads to design training modules based on feedback from previous sessions. - Provide specialized training to selected technicians for in-depth knowledge on equipment repair and maintenance. - Assist in training PSD Technicians/officers on repairing Foggers and also provide customer training on Fogger usage/maintenance upon PSD request. II. Repairs: - Undertake repairs of various equipment such as Drill Machines, Foggers, Sprayers, ULVs, TSPR Pumps, TSS Injector set, Termatrac Machine, and Fumigation Equipment across branches. - Support PSD in repairing foggers for customers and ensure calibration of Termatrac Machine. - Conduct equipment audits at branches and bases, identify issues, and guide on inventory management. III. Innovation in Service Equipment: - Explore, evaluate, and implement new service equipment to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Identify problems in existing equipment and propose effective solutions. - Introduce new equipment based on market research and evaluation to improve service quality. IV. Assistance to Branches and Other Divisions: - Provide guidance to branches and other divisions on equipment selection, usage, maintenance, and repair. - Ensure spares availability and assist in major job tasks requiring equipment support. V. Data Maintenance: - Maintain records of all equipment and tools at branches and NSD, optimizing inventory management. VI. SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment): - Foster SHE Leadership and Awareness among teams. - Key Result Areas include training, stock availability, equipment innovation, spare parts sourcing, maintenance support, and inventory control. Competencies required: - Proficiency in Pest Control equipment. - Basic computer skills for data management and communication. Requirements: - Minimum Qualification: ITI mechanic/Diploma in Mechanic. - Minimum 5 years of experience in Equipment maintenance.
