Founded by pioneering revivalist, Shamlu Dudeja, SHE Kantha has transformed Bengal's humble running stitch into a statement of couture and culture. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Fashion Designer, located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Assistant Fashion Designer will assist with the daily tasks involved in designing and creating fashion pieces, including developing embroidery patterns, collaborating on fashion design concepts, ensuring proper fitting, and working with various textiles. The role entails working closely with the design team to support creative processes and production timelines. Qualifications Experience in Embroidery and Fashion Design Proficient in Fitting techniques and working with Textiles Strong understanding of Fashion trends and industry practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and creativity Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks Relevant educational background in Fashion Design or related field Passion for handicrafts and traditional textiles is a plus
