The role of Engineer- Cyber Security Engineer requires an individual with a strong understanding of industrial cyber security, information technology, and engineering principles. You should also possess project management and communication skills. In this position, your responsibilities will include: - Providing system design engineering to support the ordering, engineering, installation, and commissioning of control systems, industrial networks, and cyber security products. - Configuring switches, routers, firewalls, virtual machines, and other related components. - Developing configurations in software like Active Directory, Acronis, Sophos, Splunk, and Shavlik. - Interpreting network topologies and making revisions based on installed updates. - Supporting Engineering Services field personnel in resolving technical issues. - Managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing quality assurance. - Reviewing and interpreting customer specifications to meet their needs. - Understanding technical issues and constraints, and providing technical guidance. To be eligible for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited university or college. - At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity engineering and industrial networking. - Minimum 1 year of experience in the industrial controls or power generation industry. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time. Desired qualifications include: - Demonstrated teamwork, cooperation, flexibility, and mentoring skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and setting up various Windows-based applications. - Familiarity with Splunk, Acronis, Shavlik, and Active Directory. - Possession of IT Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CSP, GIAC, LPT, PCIP, CCNA, CCNP, CITP, or SSEC. - Knowledge of NERC, NRC, and NIST regulations and standards. - Understanding of industrial network communication protocols like modbus, OPC, and TCP/IP. - Customer service orientation. - Knowledge of quality engineering design processes and certification standards like Six Sigma and International Standards Organization.
