Role Description Job Description – Sales Executive (Rooftop Solar, Gujarat) Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Sales Executive to join our rooftop solar team in Gujarat. The role involves generating and converting leads, meeting residential and commercial clients, explaining solar solutions, preparing quotations, coordinating site visits, and ensuring smooth closure of deals. Key Responsibilities Lead Management & Conversion Manage incoming leads from references, digital campaigns, and partners. Generate new leads through references, cold calling, digital campaigns etc Conduct initial client calls to understand requirements (kW size, site type, budget). Schedule and conduct site visits. Sales & Client Engagement Explain solar benefits, government subsidy schemes, and financial savings in simple language. Prepare and present proposals/quotations using company formats. Deal Closure & Payments Finalize system size and commercial terms with the customer. Negotiate and close deals while maintaining healthy margins. Collect token/advance payments and update status in the tracker. Record reasons for rejection for lost leads. Reporting & Targets Maintain updated records of leads, follow-ups, and closures in CRM/Excel. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (in kW and revenue). Provide weekly status updates to management. Desired Profile Education: Graduate (Diploma/BE Electrical/Mechanical preferred, but not mandatory). Experience: 1–3 years in sales (solar, electrical equipment, consumer durables, or financial products). Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply. Skills: Strong communication & negotiation skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and English. Ability to build trust with customers at the household and small business level. Basic knowledge of solar panels, inverters, and rooftop installation is an advantage. Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and basic CRM tools.
