Role & responsibilities Target Achievement: Planning and executing daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet specific tonnage and output targets. Process Optimization: Monitoring furnace parameters, tap-to-tap time, and melting cycles to maximize yield and efficiency. Charge Mix & Chemistry: Overseeing the preparation of charge mixes (scrap, sponge iron, ferroalloys) to ensure cost-effectiveness and correct metallurgical composition. Preferred candidate profile Quality & Technical Oversight: Managing slag removal, deoxidation, and coordination with LRF/CCM. Implementing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for deviated heats. Resource & Cost Control: Optimizing power consumption (reducing cost per ton) and managing inventory for raw materials and refractories. Maintenance & Refractory: Overseeing furnace lining, sintering cycles, and monitoring lining health to prevent breakdowns. Safety & Leadership: Enforcing safety protocols, conducting SOP training for staff, and preparing MIS reports for senior management
