As a Technical Artist at SuperGaming, you will play a crucial role in our game development team. Your main responsibility will be to create, implement, and optimize visual elements, tools, and workflows in Unity to enhance the quality and performance of our games. By working closely with artists, designers, and programmers, you will ensure that the artistic vision is seamlessly translated into technical implementation, resulting in visually stunning, performant games that meet our aesthetic and gameplay goals. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with team members to develop and implement visual elements, tools, and workflows, optimizing game assets and graphics for optimal performance across various platforms, creating and maintaining shaders, materials, lighting, and rendering techniques, troubleshooting technical issues related to graphics and performance, and providing technical support to the team. To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of professional experience as a Technical Artist in Unity game development, with a preference for experience in the Universal Render Pipeline (URP). You must possess a strong understanding of modular workflows and concepts, along with proficiency in Unity and its rendering pipeline, including shader development, materials, lighting, and rendering techniques. Additionally, you should have a solid grasp of real-time graphics, performance optimization, and memory management in Unity, as well as knowledge of programming languages such as C# and Python. Experience with 3D modeling and animation tools like Maya or Blender will be beneficial, and you should be able to showcase a portfolio demonstrating your expertise in creating visually appealing and performant game graphics, shaders, materials, lighting, and rendering techniques.
