Position: Chef de Partie (CDP) Cuisine Specialization: Indian, Chinese, and Tandoor Reports to: Head Chef / Sous Chef Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in Indian, Chinese, and Tandoor cuisines, demonstrating a passion for authentic flavors and high-quality presentation. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage a specific section of the kitchen, mentor junior staff, and ensure all dishes meet our high standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the assigned kitchen section (Indian, Chinese, or Tandoor), ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently. Prepare and cook all dishes according to the restaurant's recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Train and supervise commis chefs and other junior staff within your section. Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the Head Chef to place orders. Ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness are maintained at all times. Assist in the development of new menu items and special dishes. Work collaboratively with the entire kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service. Handle and resolve any issues that arise in your section during service. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a similar role in a high-volume restaurant. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Indian, Chinese, and Tandoor cooking techniques. A strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
