Job Description

As a Salesforce System Analyst/Developer at UST, you will utilize your expertise in Salesforce development, administration, and configuration. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. You will work closely with onshore teams and engage with IT/Business stakeholders. Experience in the healthcare domain and Service Cloud will be advantageous for this role. Your main responsibilities will involve administering, configuring, and customizing Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards. You will be working on Salesforce Lightning (Aura framework) to create and enhance Lightning components. Additionally, you will integrate Salesforce with external systems using SOAP, REST, WSDL, and Bulk API and work on Service Cloud and Sales Cloud implementations. You will be responsible for performing unit testing, creating test classes following best practices, and managing production deployments using Change Sets, Eclipse, or ANT migration tool. Troubleshooting deployment errors and working with Apex Data Loader and ETL tools like Informatica, Boomi, Cast Iron, or Mulesoft will also be part of your role. Implementing security models, role hierarchies, and profile-based access controls in Salesforce will be crucial. To be successful in this role, you should have 5 to 12 years of total IT experience, with 3 to 4 years specifically in Salesforce development. Hands-on experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura framework), and JavaScript frameworks is essential. You must possess expertise in Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization and a strong understanding of SOQL, SQL, and database development. Proficiency in Salesforce integration (SOAP, REST, Bulk API, Metadata API) and familiarity with Sales, Service, and Community Clouds are required. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to design scalable solutions, and knowledge of Salesforce deployment processes are important for this role. Possessing Salesforce certifications such as Developer Certification (Platform Dev 1) and AppBuilder Certification is a must. Additional skills that would be beneficial include experience with Salesforce mobile (Salesforce1/vfmobile), Heroku, Radian6, and Einstein, as well as exposure to Java/.NET platforms and knowledge of HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, Google APIs, and JQuery. The position requires 5 to 12 years of total experience in IT, with at least 3 to 4 years specifically in Salesforce development.
