As a Logistics Manager at Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Ltd in Bengaluru, you will be responsible for handling SEZ and Non-SEZ import clearances across all plants. This includes liaising with Customs, ADC Officers, Plant Quarantine, and other regulatory bodies. You will also manage high-seas sales, ethanol/alcohol shipments, and sample consignments. In terms of exports, you will be overseeing end-to-end export shipment clearance and ensuring timely delivery, including third-party exports. Your role will involve coordinating with customs and ADC officials for export documentation and clearances. Another key aspect of your responsibilities will be negotiating overseas and domestic freight (air & sea), optimizing costs, and managing timely PR/PO processes. You will also be coordinating domestic pick-ups, equipment movements (including insurance), and NRGP documentation. Your role will also involve preparing and reviewing monthly MIS reports, driving logistics contract sign-offs, rate negotiations, and vendor performance evaluations. You will support cost-reduction strategies, logistics digitization, and process reengineering. As a key member of the team, you will lead SEZ and Non-SEZ import/export delivery with strong stakeholder management. You will ensure the uninterrupted supply of indirect materials and timely material code extension. Identifying non-moving or wastage items for supply planning efficiency will also be part of your responsibilities. Building strong vendor partnerships, ensuring satisfaction, and conducting quarterly feedback surveys will be crucial. Additionally, you will train plant teams on logistics processes, lead conflict resolution, and build team capabilities. Embracing transparency, empathy, and data-backed decision-making is essential in this role. You should have a strong understanding of international and domestic logistics, experience with customs, SEZ rules, high-seas transactions, and RLD materials. Proficiency in MIS reporting, logistics compliance, and stakeholder collaboration is required. A proven track record in cost optimization and vendor negotiations will be beneficial.
