Role Overview The Buying & Sourcing Manager will build Sevora’s curated brand portfolio by sourcing ready-made clothing from established fashion brands and designers. You will ensure the right balance of affordable-luxury, premium, and aspirational brands while negotiating buying, SOR (Sale or Return), consignment, and exclusivity partnerships. This role demands a mix of trend sensitivity, commercial acumen, and strong brand/vendor relationships to deliver a profitable, fresh, and fashion-forward assortment that aligns with Sevora’s styling-led positioning. Key Responsibilities Buying & Sourcing Strategy Define and execute Sevora’s sourcing roadmap aligned with brand positioning and customer insights. Identify, evaluate, and onboard premium and affordable-luxury brands across categories. Negotiate buying, SOR, consignment, and exclusivity deals to optimize risk and profitability. Maintain compliance with quality, labeling, and sustainability standards. Assortment Planning & Forecasting Plan seasonal assortments based on trend forecasts, stylist inputs, and sales data. Create demand forecasts and OTB (Open-to-Buy) plans to manage budgets and inventory risk. Balance core, seasonal, and trending categories to drive discovery and repeat engagement. Commercial & Pricing Management Set margin targets, pricing structures, and markdown strategies. Monitor gross margins and negotiate favorable commercial terms with partners. Work with finance teams on budget allocation and spend control. Vendor & Partner Management Build strong partnerships with established brands, designers, and distributors. Structure vendor contracts covering pricing, credit, returns, and service levels. Conduct regular vendor performance reviews (sell-through, OTIF, returns, customer feedback). Partner with vendors for exclusive collections, capsule launches, and collaborations. Cross-functional Collaboration Work with stylists and visual merchandising to align sourcing with brand storytelling. Collaborate with logistics/ops to ensure on-time deliveries, returns, and reverse logistics under SOR. Partner with technology teams to enable smooth onboarding through vendor/ERP systems. Provide trend and product insights to marketing for campaign storytelling. Performance Monitoring & Optimization Track sell-through, gross margins, and contribution of sourced brands to revenue. Optimize sourcing mix through data-driven insights and customer feedback. Benchmark against competitors in pricing, assortment depth, and catalog freshness. Skills & Competencies Strong expertise in fashion buying & sourcing, including SOR/consignment models. Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills with premium fashion brands. Assortment planning and demand forecasting experience. Strong commercial mindset with pricing, margin, and budget management expertise. Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems and vendor onboarding platforms. Knowledge of sustainability, compliance, and ethical sourcing standards. Experience negotiating SOR/consignment contracts and building strong vendor networks. Proven track record of assortment curation, margin management, and vendor partnerships.
