The Vice Principal ensures smooth day-to-day operations while upholding the vision, mission, and values of the institution. Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership Assist in curriculum planning, implementation, and review. Monitor teaching standards, classroom practices, and student learning outcomes. Support teachers in lesson planning, assessment, and use of innovative pedagogy. Coordinate co-curricular and extracurricular programs. 2. Administration & Operations Supervise daily school operations, including timetables, schedules, and duty rosters. Ensure compliance with CBSE/State/Board/School regulations and policies. Oversee examination management, records, and reporting systems. Assist in managing infrastructure, resources, and safety protocols. 3. Student Discipline & Welfare Maintain student discipline while promoting a positive school climate. Counsel students and guide them in personal, social, and academic matters. Address grievances, conflicts, and behavioral concerns fairly and constructively. 4. Staff Development & Supervision Mentor, guide, and evaluate teachers and staff to enhance performance. Organize professional development workshops and training sessions. Support recruitment, induction, and appraisal processes for faculty. 5. Parent & Community Relations Build strong communication channels with parents and guardians. Conduct parent meetings, orientation programs, and feedback sessions. Represent the school in community events, workshops, and inter-school activities. 6. Leadership & Strategic Support Assist the Principal in developing and executing the school’s strategic plan.
