Technical Competency
- Experience in development and customization of the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery[Employee Service Management] applications, including:
- HR Case Management
- HR Knowledge Management
- Employee Service Center (Portal)
- Enterprise Onboarding and Transitions (Lifecycle Events)
- Employee Document Management
- Performance Analytics for HR
- Integration experience with HRSM/HRIS system (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Integration experience with directories, such as Active Directory using methods such as LDAPs
- Web Services, JDBC, SFTP integration experience
- Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
- Experience with developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, XML, HTML and CSS
- Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator and Certified Implementation specialist in HRSD
- Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Basic knowledge with ITIL/industry standards and HRSD processes
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

- Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, and retrospectives)
Good-to-Have
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM
- ITIL V3/V4 foundation certification
- Service Certified Application developer[CAD] certification
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
- Identify and define business solutions for all HR users, aiding in translating HR business requirements into technical requirements
- Work in conjunction with ServiceNow Platform Administrator and ITSM developers
- ServiceNow HRSD module configuration and development, including data imports and software integrations with HR systems of record
- Assists with troubleshooting patch/release management focusing on HRSD
- Develops UI forms, fields, notifications, Automation scripts , integrations ,workflows and reports
- Create, monitors, modifies, and publishes service catalog workflows with approvals
- Work with HR team to design and create Employee Service Portal
- Creates access control rules (ACLs) and validations in various workflows
- Understand the given application requirements and capture User Stories
- Understand and follow the Best Practices and Standards/Guidelines for development
- Participate in the Daily stand-up meetings and understand the changes proposed on the requirements / user stories
- Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria
- Responsible for the code quality of assigned tasks
- Perform Unit Testing and do documentation as required
- Provide support to the users during the User Acceptance Testing
- Provide required training to the HRSD fulfiller and Administration users on the user stories developed
