Service Technician (Kitchen Equipment)

As a Service Technician for Equinox, a leader in providing turnkey kitchen solutions for high-end professional kitchens, you will be responsible for performing on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. You will act as the primary point of contact for equipment-related issues, offering technical guidance and support to internal teams. Your role will involve planning and overseeing Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) visits, ensuring timely execution, and documenting service tasks along with client sign-offs. Supervising and coordinating the daily work of 12 junior technicians to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Monitoring the usage of critical spares, maintaining service logs, and submitting reports on breakdowns and part replacements will be essential to maintain the operational efficiency of the kitchen equipment. To excel in this role, you must hold a degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and possess technical experience in servicing commercial kitchen equipment. A sound knowledge of refrigeration, electrical systems, and HVAC will be beneficial in performing the required tasks effectively. This position offers a full-time, permanent, or contractual/temporary job type with a contract length of 12 months.
