Service Owner Network & Security Infrastructure

As an experienced professional with 9 - 12 years of expertise, your role in Trivandrum will involve defining and executing the Network and Firewall Operation & Engineering strategy to align with business and IT objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing the administration, configuration, and optimization of routers, switches, firewalls, cloud networking, and LAN/WAN architectures. Your key responsibilities will include possessing expert knowledge of Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls, implementing Zero Trust security models, and demonstrating strong experience in ISP routing, Internet security, and MPLS environments. Additionally, you will be expected to have a deep understanding of Cisco and Meraki Wired & Wireless LAN, Cisco ACI, and DNAC solutions, as well as managing and optimizing Forescout NAC solutions for secure access control and endpoint compliance. In this role, you will support and integrate cloud-based networking solutions (Azure, AWS) with on-premises infrastructure, design and maintain redundant network architectures for high availability and disaster recovery, and implement network security controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST). Moreover, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining automation solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and utilizing monitoring tools like LogicMonitor, NET, or Nagios for proactive issue resolution. You will lead the resolution of network and firewall-related incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive continuous improvements. Collaboration with security teams, application teams, cloud architects, and business leaders will be essential, as well as evaluating and managing relationships with network hardware/software vendors and service providers. Implementing ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management, optimizing network infrastructure costs, and maintaining security and reliability will also be part of your responsibilities.
