We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader Network Engineering to lead our design, provisioning, and operations (EO) team. The role combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills, ensuring timely project delivery, reliable service performance, and professional development of team members. You will act as the bridge between management, engineers, and external stakeholders while driving excellence in network solutions and operation. Location: Bangalore, India Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to a team of network engineers, including graduates and interns. Oversee network design, provisioning, and operational activities, ensuring adherence to SLAs, project timelines, and technical standards. Review, approve, or modify network architecture, configurations, and documentation for accuracy and quality. Manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and project prioritisation to ensure timely delivery. Monitor team performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and act as the escalation point for technical and operational challenges. Coordinate with internal teams (sales, support, field engineers) and external vendors to ensure seamless service delivery. Facilitate workshops to define project specifications and create detailed execution plans. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation, automation, and knowledge sharing within the team. Prepare, maintain, and review documentation, reports, pre-check/post-checklists, and performance trackers. Draft proposals, reports, and updates for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication. Ensure compliance with WHS, Quality, Environmental, and Security policies, as well as internal and customer standards. Stay updated on emerging networking technologies, industry best practices, and implement improvements within the team. Qualifications & Technical Skills Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (preferred). 610 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 23 years in a lead/mentoring capacity. Hands-on expertise with Juniper, Cisco, Alcatel, Huawei routers and switches. Strong knowledge of Carrier Ethernet, MPLS, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, VPNs (L2VPN, L3VPN), VLAN, QoS, Segment Routing. Familiarity with network provisioning, capacity planning, SDH networks, IP voice products. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and documentation tools. Desirable Skills Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. Strong project management and organisational skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to balance technical depth with people management.
