As a valuable member of our team, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with a seasoned team to deliver sophisticated technology solutions to clients worldwide. Working alongside subject matter experts, you will gain valuable insights and expand your skills within the Quality Assurance team. Your responsibilities will include documenting test strategy, crafting test cases, setting up test environments, conducting integration and system testing, regression testing, and logging defects in the system. You will autonomously test software systems end-to-end and conduct root cause analysis for issues identified during the testing phase. Excellent communication skills are imperative, as you will be required to effectively interpret vague requirements and confidently present testing strategies to various stakeholders. Your analytical prowess, collaborative spirit, and dedication to enhancing business practices will be key assets in this role. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 8-12 years of software testing experience, specifically in Server-Side Testing, with a robust understanding of back-end testing and proficiency in UNIX/Linux command line tools and regular expressions (e.g., grep, sed, Perl, awk). Proficiency in Linux-based scripting languages like Bash and Python is essential. Experience in the Financial Services, Trading, or Capital Markets domain is highly desirable. A positive attitude, adept multitasking skills, proactive problem-solving approach, and ownership mentality are qualities we value in potential candidates. You should be capable of identifying project risks from a testing perspective, meeting deadlines, defining the testing scope based on business requirements, and independently setting up test environments. Further, you should possess the ability to analyze test results, conduct in-depth investigations, provide root cause analysis, and mentor junior QA team members. A degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field is required for this position.,
