As a Senior Backend Developer at Akalp Techno Media Solutions LLP, you will play a crucial role in designing scalable systems, optimizing performance, and leading technical back-end efforts in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable back-end code. Your expertise in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and database architectures will be essential in delivering high-quality features and improvements in collaboration with front-end developers and designers. You will lead back-end architecture decisions, mentor junior developers, and implement security and data protection protocols across applications. Your role will involve optimizing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, troubleshooting production issues, and leading debugging efforts. Additionally, you will be expected to write and maintain clear technical documentation and plan and execute backend updates, migrations, and system upgrades. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in one or more back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter), Java (Spring Boot), etc. You should also possess expertise in database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure. Sound knowledge of server-side architecture, security protocols, and authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.) is crucial for this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience (preferred for senior level). Experience in leading back-end projects or teams will be considered a plus. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, along with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments, are desired qualities.
