As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust infrastructure architectures aligned with business and IT strategy. Your role will involve leading infrastructure modernization initiatives while maintaining legacy systems as required. You will provide high-level technical guidance and mentorship to infrastructure and operations teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies for security, availability, and performance. Your expertise in traditional enterprise IT infrastructure will be crucial as you architect and oversee the deployment of on-premise solutions across storage, compute, network, and middleware. Collaborating with application and database teams, you will support infrastructure scalability and optimization while driving performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning. With over 10 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and system administration, you will bring a strong understanding of servers (Windows/Linux), virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V), enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS), data center operations, and enterprise networks (LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Load Balancers). Your solid expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and ITIL practices will be essential in this role. In addition to your technical skills, your problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and stakeholder engagement will be crucial as you lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related outages. Strong documentation and architecture diagramming skills using tools like Visio and Draw.io will also be required. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as MCSE, VMware VCP, CCNP, CompTIA Server+/Network+, experience with IT compliance, audits, and regulatory frameworks, as well as exposure to hybrid environments with limited or no cloud dependency.
