As an experienced Solution Architect at General Technologies, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of complex and highly available solutions. Your role will involve working closely with the sales team to create solution options and estimates for cloud migration projects. Here are the key responsibilities: - Utilize your IT experience with pre-sales solution experience. - Demonstrate recent experience in architecture, design, and implementation of complex solutions. - Perform datacenter workload migrations towards Azure. - Showcase strong expertise in Cloud Computing, Server/Datacenter virtualization, Storage, Information Security, and Network. - Exhibit experience in enterprise-wide architectural governance, architecture decisions, exceptions, and standards. - Provide scalable designs for migrating SAP applications to AWS, Azure, and private clouds. - Collaborate with customer point of contacts and internal teams to optimize delivery. - Document standard operating procedures with appropriate controls for smooth delivery. - Evangelize and execute best practices on cloud migration projects. - Create deliverables such as solution design, hardware sizing, and disaster recovery plans as part of cloud migration projects. In addition to the above responsibilities, you should meet the following minimum requirements: - Possess extensive knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, system security measures, database management, and web platforms. - Have a background in both hardware and software. - Demonstrate excellent ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals, especially in management roles. - Hold a degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
