Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer in the team responsible for Cisco NFVIS (Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure Software) product, you will have complete ownership of CI/CD with automation for the features, manage release collaterals for image posting, and operate in a high-touch model for key customer accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and releasing in a dynamic agile environment using modern methodologies and open-source tools. You will collaborate with a multi-functional team to deliver elegant and scalable solutions to meet real customer needs. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and release software features in a dynamic agile environment - Own your work and deliver elegant and scalable solutions - Collaborate with autonomous, multi-functional team to tackle real problems and meet customer needs - Manage CI/CD with automation for features and release collaterals - Operate in a high-touch model for key customer accounts Qualifications Required: - Expert level experience in Linux, understanding of Kernel, and virtualization technologies such as qemu, libvirt, kvm - Expert level experience in Python / C, YANG, NetConf/REST API implementation - Expert level experience with networking concepts and protocols (DHCP, Bridges, VLAN, etc) - A degree in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years of experience Additional Company Details: At Cisco, every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue the purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
