Job Title: School System Administrator Location: Adgaon, Nashik Job Type: Full-time Experience : Any Educational Institute Reports To: Head Admin Position Summary: The School System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the school's information technology systems and infrastructure. This role ensures the smooth operation of computer networks, learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), hardware, software, and user support across the school or district. Key Responsibilities: Network & Systems Administration: Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls). Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and security. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Technical Support: Provide level 2/3 technical support to staff, teachers, and students. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, Chromebooks). Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technical support and maintenance. Software & Data Management: Administer Student Information Systems (e.g., PowerSchool, Infinite Campus) and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Google Classroom, Canvas). Ensure regular data backups, system updates, and compliance with privacy standards (e.g., FERPA, COPPA). Support assessment platforms and academic tools. Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement and enforce IT policies and best practices. Monitor for security threats and maintain antivirus and anti-malware systems. Manage firewall rules, content filtering, and endpoint security. IT Planning & Development: Collaborate with school leadership on technology initiatives and improvements. Support technology integration into classrooms and staff professional development. Evaluate and recommend hardware/software solutions aligned with school needs. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems/network administration. Experience in an educational setting is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Google Workspace for Education, and networking protocols. Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and backup solutions. Knowledge of SIS/LMS platforms, and ed-tech tools integration. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Detail-oriented and organized.

Experience with strong Linux domain knowledge and troubleshooting skills, scripting, debug and build tools with SQL database. Experience in RedHat Linux OS & LVM, RAID. Knowledge/Hands on in RedHat cluster Experience in performance tuning of OS, Application and Databases. Relevant experience on a high volume enterprise help desk or similar support role. Excellent hands on experience on different Linux distributions Exposure on virtualization and cloud platforms. Hands on experience in Hardware (IBM/HP/HP Blade) servers Understanding of High Availability and Redundancies for different components. Understanding the DR/BCP for different environments. Exposure to DR Drills. Server security hardening, and system compliance. Primary Skill Linux Administrator with SQL Database exp. Secondary Skill Scripting Language exp.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement, and manage strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program. Make a risk assessment of company systems, networks, and data to prevent it from being accessed (viewed by unauthorized personnel, data corrupted, or data lost) Define Risk Management framework and implement across the enterprise business functions. Security assessment, validation & clearance of developed /acquired applications for production launch. Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology, cloud security and systems aligned to security framework. Managing the daily operation and conducting continuous assessment of current IT security practices and systems and identifying areas for improvement. Implement and maintain compliance of security requirements for new products/services. Devising strategies, solutions and implementing security solutions and minimizing the risk of cyber-attacks. Lead Implementation of security products and solution across organization Implement and comply with best Industrial standards on Security, IT Acts/ISO and other IT statutory requirements. Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits. Conduct Investigations and forensics for any breaches dealing with those responsible and planning to avoid repeats of the same crisis. Lead the various internal and external IT/Security audits and ensure all compliances are met. Lead various Internal, External IT and security audits. Ensure compliances are met. Preparing Cybersecurity roadmap and assisting for all Cybersecurity compliances requirement. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENT Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Good to have relevant industry certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001, and others (as relevant) At least 8+ years of working experience in domains related to Information security and with a very strong security mindset. Experience in area of IT Security, IT Audits, Compliance and Risk Management in IT/FMCG Industry Excellent Knowledge of Cyber Security, risks, threats in infrastructure, network, Cloud, Application and Data Centre Technologies Experience of various security solutions such as Firewall / IDS/ IPS / NAC / Email Security/CASB / EDR / WAF / AV / DLP / ATP / PIM / PAM / DAM / SIEM etc. Good understanding of Security technologies for private and public cloud Thorough Knowledge of IT and Security processes implementation and compliances Knowledge of information and network security principles, with a major focus on information, network & application security risks and impact. Good understanding of security frameworks, standards such as ITCG Control, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS etc.

Administering SQL Server, the backup, integration, restore, reporting and maintenance processes. Diagnose and analyze using third-party diagnostic tools. SQL Server security configuration and management Work with the team on migrating older versions of SQL Server to new, if required. Administer and maintain Azure SQL managed instance. Development on Power BI, if required. Create Business Requirement document, KPI dimensions matrix, source to target mapping documents. Account Mining/ Account Management.
